We're still here...

I'm not sure if anyone is still reading this blog...it's been quite some time since either of us have posted. As everyone knows we're back to our 'Normal' life after the amazing vacation across the pond. Not too much is new. Sara is teaching 3rd grade and I'm still at the university teaching and trying to finish up my doctorate. 

I thought about using this as a way to vent about my dissertation process but I doubt too many people care to read my b*#^ing on a daily basis. However, I will say it's quite frustrating spending the last two years of your life sitting in  3 hour night classes,  four days a week to get to this point and not have anyone in the department help you out by agreeing to chair your dissertation. I'm slowly working through the kink (at least I like to think that I am) and hope to have a very productive Spring semester of writing. Alright, enough about that.

In other news, this will be our third weekend in a row that we haven't left B/N. Pretty unusual for us since we seem to be always on the go visiting family and friends. Next weekend we'll break this trend as we will be heading up north to watch the Rockford Regents women's basketball team in their home opener. Check out the schedule and get to a game to support Jessie!!

Enough for now, but I'm going to make a point of doing a better job of posting. If not to inform friends and family about what's going on in our lives, it will allow me to stop talking to myself.
