Basement Update #5

Our ceiling is now texturized.

And the tile has been laid for the bar.
Ooooohhhh, look at the detail in that texturiziation. So beautiful we took another picture...

Still Working on the Basement

Yesterday the guy came to finish the drywall (taping and mudding) apparently it is a three day process. (We are learning a lot) The room is looking more and more like a place I would like to hang out! It is exciting to see it all coming together.

The water is hooked up to the toilet.

A Visit from My BFF

Jill came and visited with her husband this past weekend. We had a great time hanging out and catching up. Below are some pictures of the weekend.

Basement Update #4

We have drywall!!!

And a toilet that is almost functional....just need the water hooked up and then we are set.

Basement Update #3

Since we have last updated on the basement our contractor has been busy busy busy. He has gotten the electrical done, and installed insulation!!! Tomorrow the drywall guys come :)

It has been fun seeing this take place, all the steps needed to finish a space. I think I have all the colors picked out. I'm going with a gray color. I am excited to see all of it come together.

Also, our dog is a fanatic about this weather. Often she will sit by the door signaling she wants to go out only to sit on the concrete. Weird.
