Working out the kinks

First, those people at Google are smart. As we prepare for our first international trip together, we're trying to figure out ways to keep in touch with everyone without a lot of effort. It's not that you all aren't important, but we are going to try to maximize the amount of fun things we can do over there. We're still going to blog on this site, but we'll also be posting photos on Picasa through links within the blog. Not only will this be a great way to share pictures with you, but also will work well as a backup in case the memory card fills up.

So as a trial, I have posted some older pictures from a weekend here in Bloomington when we went and saw Mike and Joe play at Daddios. This was the first weekend that I met Sara's sister and brother-in-law. Enjoy.

In other news, we met with the travel agent yesterday and picked up all our vouchers. It's now official...before we had a plane ticket over there; now we have a place to stay and a few things to do as well. We're now less than 2 weeks away and getting really excited to travel abroad.

More to come soon.

One Month To Go!!!

Well, there is one month to go until our trip over the Atlantic begins.  This week has been full of frequent trips to the library by Sara to check out books and travel videos.  Justin has been thrilled to sit and watch the videos of over eager globetrotters chattering about all of the dos and don'ts of savvy travelers.  Trust me, its been both informative and excruciating at the same time.  We have been gathering necessary travel items and luggage.  By the way, does anyone have an enormous suitcase they are willing to let us barrow?  Let's think here 10 days, unpredictable weather, European shopping opportunities, what shoes will I want to wear??
Until we are on that plane we are working anyway we can to pick up a few more travel dollars.  Summer school substituting, tutoring, umpiring, summer classes at ISU, and summer athletic camps.
Only 28 more days!  Talk to you later!
