This past weekend we were up in Chicago for 3rd Annual Race to Wrigley to support the Cub's charities. John, Emily, Sara, and I all got up early and ran in the bitter cold temperatures. While there were a few flurries on our drive into the city, by the time we toed the start line they had stopped.
All of us made it through the 5K and decided to hang around in the city to celebrate and watch the Cubs take on the Phillies. I think it's safe to say that any benefit we got from the exercise that morning was nullified by all the fried food and beers we enjoyed. As always we had a great time and I'm looking forward to making Sara wear her new Cubs shirt on our next trip to Wrigley.
